The Boiler Operator -Maintenance Mechanic for a Top Workplace Minnesota Company is responsible for performing repairs and preventive maintenance on packaging machines and other equipment in our manufacturing environment. THIS IS A 6pm to 6am shift. 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Operating and maintaining high-pressure boiler (MN 2nd Class B Boiler License¬† or higher preferred).
  • Practices appropriate safety procedures, GMP, and repair methods.
  • Independently performs assigned plant equipment repairs.
  • Independently performs assigned preventative maintenance for equipment.
  • Performs mechanical and electrical troubleshooting of plant equipment.
  • Provides documentation of work performed on daily Individual Shift Report.
  • Assists in maintaining inventories of parts and supplies by appropriately signing out parts from storeroom and reporting low supply levels to supervisor.
  • Performs building maintenance and repairs as needed.
  • Performs electrical repairs of single phase and three phase power distribution components.
  • Performs troubleshooting and repairs of electrical control wiring of equipment.
  • Inspects equipment and independently performs appropriate corrective actions within the scope of required skill level of Class B Maintenance Technician.
  • Performs other duties as requested.
